The Gospel According to Larry is what we are discussing currently. So, what do you think so far?

Respond to the following quote from page 1: "We need people stirring up the way we think about things." Be sure to explain your response as thoroughly as you can...real life answers here would be greatly appreciated. We will be having a seminar discussion later and anything said in this forum is fair game for that discussion as well, so if you want to discuss Larry in relation to this quote then feel free.

I think its like saying that more people need to voice their opinion so that other people can get behind them.

I believe that "we need people stirring up the way we think about things" means that we need other peoples opinions about stuff. Also like Steve Jobs he thought about making an ipod and others talked about it and now its very popular.... Melissa Tardi

I think that this book gives us a different view on life. The part about the 75 things really made me think. I have more than 75 things in my garage without counting the things in my room.

I find it comforting that this book is an eaisier read than other books. This book uses modern language to portray real life conflicts. Such as Joshs' inner love for his best friend. Im sure that people can easily relate to this today.

I thnk that the quote from page one gives a general guideline for Josh's philosophy. The quote describes the general motif of his whole Larry plan. He wants to open peoples eyes and show them what they are doing to our resorces.
